Privacy Policy

Ballify (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a football content aggregation and analysis service at ballify.ai. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the third-party services involved in running Ballify.
This is a general-purpose draft and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Review it yourself or with legal counsel before publishing, especially regarding GDPR compliance if you have EU visitors.
1. Data We Collect
Information you provide
Ballify does not require an account to use. We do not collect your name, email address, or any other personal identifier through normal use of the site.
If you complete onboarding (selecting a favorite team and content interests), these preferences are stored locally in your browser using localStorage. This data:
- Is not transmitted to or stored on our servers
- Is not linked to your identity
- Stays on your device until you clear your browser data or use a different browser/device
- Can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser's site data for Ballify
Information collected automatically
We do not currently use analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party tracking cookies. If this changes in the future, this policy will be updated and, where required by law (e.g. for EU/UK visitors), a cookie consent mechanism will be added before any tracking is enabled.
Our hosting provider (Vercel) may automatically log basic technical information for security and operational purposes (e.g. IP address, request timestamps) as part of standard web server operation. We do not directly access or use this data for tracking purposes.
2. Third-Party Services We Use
Ballify is built on the following third-party infrastructure. Each processes data as described below, governed by their own privacy policies:

We do not sell, rent, or share any user data with third parties for advertising purposes. We do not currently collect enough user data to do so even if we wanted to.
3. How We Use Information
The limited data we do handle (locally-stored preferences) is used solely to:
- Personalize which articles and sections are emphasized on your homepage and feed
- Remember your selected favorite team and content interests between visits on the same browser
We do not use this data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond improving your own experience of the site.
4. Your Choices and Rights
- Clearing preferences:You can reset all locally-stored preferences at any time by clearing your browser's site data for Ballify, or through any in-app reset option if available.
- No account, no deletion request needed: Because we do not store personal data on our servers, there is no account data for us to delete on request. If this changes (e.g. if we introduce user accounts), this policy will be updated to include data access/deletion rights.
- EU/UK visitors: If applicable data protection law grants you rights (such as access, correction, deletion, or objection) regarding any data we do process, contact us at privacy@ballify.ai and we will respond as required by law.
5. Children's Privacy
Ballify is not directed at children under 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your jurisdiction) and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as Ballify evolves — for example, if we introduce user accounts, analytics, or advertising. We will update the “Last updated” date above when changes are made. Continued use of Ballify after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
